Colton & the Camera – 3 Month Old Baby Photos – Douglasville

Here’s a little guy who at only 3 months is already attempting to conquer the world. He’s a strong-willed fella who’s learned a few key tricks since making his debut back in June (2011).

3 Lessons in 3 Months – How Colton Sees It

  1. One smile can get me anything I want.
  2. My mama? Yeah, I got her wrapped! Watch what happens when I cry.
  3. The ladies love me. What can I say? Look at this face!

Colton is one cool cat. And what a great name! As I said, he’s strong-willed. So, capturing some of these precious moments meant being patient, even stopping for a bit while Colton regained his composure. But hey, it was great to see Heather (new mom) in action. She’s already a pro.

We made some great photographs. I’ll highlight a few in this post and add the occasional commentary.

As I was saying, Heather is a fine mom who is obviously so proud of her first born son. I’m so glad she chose to have 3 month photos taken. From the looks of it, he’ll always be adorable, but Colton will never be this small again.

That’s exactly why I recommend my client’s to schedule newborn photos within 10 days of the baby’s birth, and then every three months during the first year. You may remember us discussing this in more detail on Luke’s 9 Month images.

Also, maternity photos are a plus! And they’re included in our Baby’s First Year package!

Back to the little guy…

This time sporting a yellow ducky bathrobe.

I wonder if they make this robe in my size. “Quack quack”

This next one… yeah, I don’t know if its me or Colton who has been left breathless. I’m digging the intensity of this look. Click on the image to zoom in.

Hey Colton, meet Leo the Lion. He’s a good friend to have in times of trouble!

All the paparazzi action finally got to the little guy tuckered out.

So sweet and innocent.

You may have noticed in one of the black and white baby photos above that Colton was wearing a University of Georgia, polo-style, shirt. That’s because his mom is a big Georgia Bulldog football fan.

(Me too. Go SEC!)

And he’s had enough folks! One last shot.

Heather, thanks for choosing Mosley Pro Photo to document Colton’s first year journey! He’s adorable and you’re doing great with him. You have every right to be proud!

Daniel these are amazing. You’re right he’s a doll and looks like he always will be! I so regret not getting more studio picks of Jake when he was smaller. He’s 14 months now and we’ve only got the ones I’ve taken.

Thanks Jennifer. Little Colton is certainly a cutie.

You’ve always reemphasized my point about the importance of having professional baby pictures made. Sadly, you can’t go back and do it the next time around, BUT you can starting at this point moving forward. I’d certainly schedule a session for Jake soon!
