Mosley Pro Photo is me, Daniel Mosley. I’m a leading, lifestyle photographer. I live, work, play, and serve in the West Atlanta area (Douglasville to be more specific). I’ve made this fast-paced, Southern town, my home and I love it. That’s me in the photos above ^ and to the right. >

My passion is to create images that cause people to stop and stare, to capture sensational moments that might otherwise be forgotten, and to tell a story one frame at a time time. Nikon is my weapon of choice, and I wield it at will.

LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY   Styles, like people, evolve over the years. Today, I love to use dramatic lighting in my images combined with rich, saturated colors, and warm tones. Then again, its hard to top the timeless feel of a well-composed black and white.

Rather than posing my client’s for every shot, I set the scene and then let authentic moments take place. My images do 3 things well: They show emotion, capture a moment, and tell a story. I make this the goal of every shutter click.

FAMILY: While I love my work, it takes a back seat to my family. Somehow, I’ve been lucky enough to woo the heart of an incredible woman (@JMosley) and convince her that we should spend the rest of our lives together. We have a girl who is 3 and a boy that’s one. Yes, we are busy! They have stolen my heart and taught me that it’s actually possible to love unconditionally. As a family, we invest our lives intentionally making memories… and the best is yet to come.

SOCIAL MEDIA: I’m a web 2.0 junkie. I live my life out loud on Twitter, and Facebook, and another blog over here.

HISTORY: I’ve had a camera in my hand for about as long as I can remember. Photography has always provided me with a way to share my perspective of the world. I started my first productions company in 1998. I was 18 at the time. My partner and I filmed and photographed beauty pageants to earn college money. Not a bad gig for a couple high school boys.

TRAINING: In college, I studied photo journalism, theatrical lighting, and web technologies. All of which have shaped my approach to photography.

PRODUCTIONS, PHOTOGRAPHY, & PASTORING: More recently, I worked as the Productions Director and Internet Campus Pastor at The Church at Chapel Hill. I was also their Young Adults Pastor. Yes, that’s right. I’m a minister. I could photograph your wedding and perform the ceremony at the same time . In my 5 years at Chapel Hill, I developed and trained camera teams for still and video imaging. I did a lot of work in front of the camera as well. You can watch some of my videos if you like.
